Today is a very special day for Swift-Morris Interiors, but more importantly, for the Ferguson’s. Not only is today the Ferguson’s wedding anniversary, but it is also the day that they move into their the brand-new home that we have just finished renovating.
The Bloomfield project has been a very exciting journey for Swift-Morris Interiors. From stripping back this beautiful old brownstone, to recreating and re-constructing the interior, we have been inspired working on every element of this project.
These last couple of weeks we have been focused on wallpapering, painting, installing lighting and hardware, cleaning and doing all of the the ‘finishing touches’ – just in time for today’s scheduled deadline – the big move in!
We hope you enjoy looking through this final set of construction pictures for the Bloomfield Project. However, make sure you check back in with us as we still have the furnishings and the final reveal coming soon!

LOWER LEVEL:
On the lower level, the mouldings are set, the final coats of paint go on, the light fixtures are installed and the bespoke wine racks are enthusiastically put in place.

On the Parlour level, the lounge room and kitchen receive the last licks of paint, the floor boards are varnished, the cupboard doors are hinged, the light fixtures are hung and the marble tops are polished. Check out our before and afters below!

2ND LEVEL:
Further up on the second level, the original library fireplace is restored and the ceiling-to-floor shelves are varnished. The guest bedroom and bathroom are also wallpapered, the chandeliers are hung and the cupboard doors and all of the hardware is installed.

3RD LEVEL:
Up on the top level, the master bathroom and bedroom are prepped for the arrival of the new owners; the final bathroom hardware is installed, including the glass shower door and last but not least, the dressing room closet door handles are installed.
